About Us
We are animal health and welfare experts. We know that animals, especially sick and/or painful animals, often find visits to the veterinary office stressful and scary. We believe the ideal last days and moments of your pet’s life should be as comfortable, peaceful, and full of love and kindness as possible. We think of in-home, gentle and humane euthanasia as a final expression of gratitude to the animal companions we love. We seek to strengthen the human-animal bond and relieve animal pain and suffering.
Dr Sarah Low is the founder of Yonder Care. Dr. Low moved to Blacksburg in 2011 to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and has remained in Blacksburg since graduating vet school in 2015. Dr. Low is passionate about improving animal welfare. She feels that in-home pet euthanasia is a wonderful way to give back to the animal companions we love by allowing them to pass in a comfortable and familiar setting, surrounded by the friends and family they love. Dr. Low is Fear Free certified and has completed the master program training from the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy so that she can better serve her patients and their families. Dr. Low advocates for the gentle and humane treatment of all animals throughout all stages of life and death. She hopes that she can help animal caregivers feel supported and cared for during and after the passing of their animal loved ones.
